No, the taxi driver actually wanted to persuade me to drive there, but I knew that I'd only have time for one part, the old or the new. And you can actually see the skyscrapers from far away. The highest building, whatsitcalled, the one that looks like a twisted needle, was AWEsome, even (maybe especially) from afar. I would have been more interested in the crazy artificial islands, too, if I hadn't seen them from the plane - and they're still just construction sites, not that interesting to look at.
