vout will come over and clutter up the table even more with her books, laptop and paper on top of mine. My room looks like it always does in hard work phases of my life, and I can't seem to get to sleep before 2:00 a.m. The boycat is in one of his even snugglier moods, and even though he's got a cold and trouble at work, Dad smiles when he calls. I have things to do, important things, hard things, exciting things, plans to make and plans to follow through, I'm behind on answering emails, comments and letters, and I still have no idea where I'll be this time next year.
Where running in the evenings, after dark, complaining when the endorphine high comes later than usual. I got Sushi two days ago and God, it was fine food indeed. And about four days ago there where fireflies in Volksgarten park. Real, true life fireflies! I was 13 the last time I saw some.
Maybe today there'll be people round our kitchen table again, working hard, joking around, snacking fruit and nuts.
Last week this time we just left Paris. I'm still carrying some bits of it around.
